Hakan - Dentist
Hakan qualified at Umea University in Northern Sweden in 1997. Initially, he worked as a general dental consultant in Stockholm for two years. In 1999 Hakan moved to the United Kingdom and worked in a mixed NHS/private practice in Totnes, Devon where he stayed for three years, before moving to another mixed NHS/private practice in Brighton.
Hakan took over St Annes Dental Practice in 2008. He enjoys working on all aspects of dentistry and sees himself as a family dentist.

Liz - Dentist
Liz qualified as dentist in London in 1977. She has worked in general practice and in the community dental service in London and the South East as well as in Zimbabwe for a short spell.
She has been with St Annes for the last 21 years. She has a special interest in homeopathy for dentistry, gaining her MF Hom in 1994, she has also attended an extensive course in Restorative dentistry in Manchester in 2004/5.
She enjoys facilitating the patient to feel at home in the surgery and attending to their specific needs.

Nick - Dentist
Nick sat his A Levels in Lewes before graduating at Guy's Hospital in 1986. Since then, he worked in Haywards Heath, before founding the Gallery Dental Practice in Cuckfield.
Nick has attended many post-graduate courses in the UK and in the USA. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is an experienced and very gentle dentist. He especially likes to do modern cosmetic dentistry such as tooth whitening, white fillings, porcelain veneers and replacement of old amalgam silver fillings. Non-metal crowns, inlays and fillings can transform the look and feel of the teeth.

Susan - Dentist
Susan qualified in 1994 from The University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. After qualifying, she moved to the UK for 6 years before returning to South Africa and running a private practice for 16 years. During this time, she co-founded the tooth fairy project at Red Cross Children's Hospital. The project worked with children, parents and staff educating them to become oral health experts. She returned to the UK in 2017.
She particularly enjoys orthodontics, restoring implants and care for the elderly but does all aspects of dentistry. Balance in life is also something she values - loving nature, walking and travelling.
